The outside of the house is just about done, other than the work I have to do, to make the landscape look pretty.

House got stoned
ok, so the stone is now done on the house and the drywall is hung. The drywall inspection was this afternoon. Hope the mudders can start tomorrow. Also hope the siders will be back some time soon to finish the siding.
And now the drywallers have until Sept 3 to get the drywall done or else I will have to pay for another month of POD rental...Guess someone needs to work the holiday weekend.
My 110 day guarantee is up soon, Sept 15!

Some updates
Well, insulation done and inspected. Drywall started to be hung today. Furnace was put in on Monday. Water line ran Monday, too.
I put in insulation in the garage outside walls (Not included with the home), and around the upstairs bathrooms, laundry room and master bedroom, for sound reasons. The siders should finish by the end of the week. Not much new to see so no pictures today.

Suprise Suprise
Wow, the plumbing got completed and inspected Thursday, early. I am happy.
The fireplace was installed Friday. Siding was about halfway done on Friday. The fireplace inspection should be Monday, followed by framing inspection, then insulation Tuesday and drywall delivery Wednesday, installation to follow. I hope siding finishes Monday, too.
So, here are some half sided pictures :)

The word of the day, DELAY!!!
Well, since the last post, there were a few inspections. Rough electrical passed. Plumbing and heating did not. Still not passed. Waiting all week for the plumbers to come out to do what they need to do to make the inspector happy. The interior of the house has been at a stand-still for 2 weeks waiting for the plumber to spare a few hours to fix what he needs to in order for the plumbing to pass inspection. Then, the building inspector will do firestop inspection and rough framing inspection. Insulation has been put on hold until these inspections are done. The plumber said he could be there Monday... That will be 2 weeks since it initially failed inspection. I know the plumbing inspector has been back at least twice since then, too.
On the good side, the garage floor and porch were poured this week (Building inspector waiting to approve basement to be poured until framing inspection complete), and last Friday the sewer line was ran from the house to the road. Water line scheduled for Monday. Talked with DTE and waiting the invoice to run permanent electric. Once paid, 8 business days till permanent electric service, max. Siding is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday! We will see. Was scheduled for Wednesday, but got changed. No hurries. Less than 5 weeks till my 110 days are up, I'm expecting a check...
Since siding is scheduled, I assume the tyvec inspection was done and passed (But no sticker in the house I have seen. Stickers for everything else).
No pictures yet. Hopefully some once siding started / done.
For those reading and following who are thinking of building their home through Wayne Homes, I know I have had many problems and delays with building. More than normal. Just so you know, the framer was out Tuesday to fix a mistake and told me he has just about finished one home since mine and has moved on to the next home for Wayne Homes (Of course mine still not inspected, so not officially done with framing yet).
